Got this as a gift. Looks great on the outside, but in reality it’s a piece of junk. The manual is terrible – even something as simple as putting the battery in the remote is ambiguous. Needless to say I couldn’t get the remote to work, so tried tuning in the TV manually – no luck there either. Even tried to put a DVD in, and the DVD slot would not open.Called customer service – stayed on the line 20 minutes first attempt, and then was told via automatic message to call back later. Decided to give it another go, and this time got through to a customer service person after another 20 mins – they were of zero help. I’m guessing they are there for show only – I thought the guy was going to walk me through setting the thing up – instead he just said it must be broken, so take it back to the store. Ah well – get what you pay for.

The instructions could have been written in sanskrit as they were very vague and not at all helpful. So, I relied solely on common sense despite the fact that the remote would not function. I immediately called Viore and they admitted that they have had a problem with the remote on this model. They instructed me to email my purchase confirmation along with my phone number and they would send another remote. Three days later, a rep from Viore left a message that I had to return the entire purchase to them as they could not just replace the defective remote. Instead, I called Amazon and explained the situation. I returned the entire unit to them at no cost.
I found the picture to be very clear with a decent sound quality. It was exactly what I had been looking for. However, I am hesitant to reorder this product and will keep searching for something similar.

This was a Christmas present for my husband and I waited until the very, very last minute to order, because I could not decide whether to buy a 7″ or 10″ screen or which TV brand to buy. This TV order arrived right on schedule, in time for Christmas, and it was an excellent choice. It works perfect and has the highest quality picture we have ever seen in a small, portable TV. My husband likes it especially, because he can watch football and basketball and actually see the action. The antenna works well and in brings in most stations and more stations if we put the antenna up about 6 feet. With an attached antenna you have to move the whole TV around and watch the TV from odd angles, with this detached antenna you just move the antenna around, which it great. We could find nothing wrong with the TV or Amazon’s service, everything is perfect. Thank you Amazon!

I tried 2 of these TVs. Could not get the stations that I should have been able to get. I wanted to try one more set but Amazon sent me an Email saying it’s likely that I would have the same issue again (they’re probably right) so they refunded my purchase price. Amazon has been great to work with. This TV set was exactly what I was looking for (perfect size, battery powered to use during power outages, great size). I’m really frustrated that I’ll have to start all over with my search!
>>When I hooked it up to cable not all the cable stations that should come in don’t (I got about 20 stations when there should be >200). The station numbers displayed don’t resemble anything like the true station number (e.g. channel 13 is displayed as 241.2, channel 2 displayed as 85.74 – Viore could not explain why). When I rescanned it came up with different station numbers for some stations, other station numbers stayed the same. The first TV I received had only got 4 stations when attached to cable and none over the air. The cable stations that did come in had an awesome picture and sound!

Pro’s= I tried 5 diffrent small tv’s coby, haier n few others, all were sent back because of very poor tunning.Few had very bad sound or to much bass so when you turned it up it got distored. This one tunned the best, sound is pretty good wish it was a bit louder but its clean sound. yes i use the antenna it came with, off air signal, chicago area.
Con’s= wish you didn’t have to switch from tv to hdtv, wish it was on one tuner but not to bad cause it stays on hdtv mostly.as in all tv’s you have to get use to it, took me about a week.
Over all after a month this was the best i have found, picture is very good.price with a dvd player is great.dvd plays great and doesn’t make noise as it plays.
also Amazon and the stores have been great to work with n easy.
